Nog voordat je Smögen bereikt, loont het de moeite even halt te houden bij de parkeerplaats voor de brug die Smögen met het vasteland verbindt. Daar heb je een heel mooi overzicht over het volledige dorp en alle aan- en afvarende bootjes. Vooral in de ochtend en tegen de avond is het één en al beweging op het water.
Er zijn houten trapjes en picknickplaatsen langs de rotswand aangelegd. En je kan nog hogerop gaan en bovenop de heuvel van een panorama over de archipel genieten. Overal eilandjes zo ver je kan zien.
