Copper Mountain is een berg en skigebied gelegen in Summit County, Colorado, ongeveer 75 mijl ten westen van Denver op Interstate 70. Het resort heeft 2.465 acres aan binnengebied dat in huur is van de U.S. Forest Service, White River National Forest, Dillon Ranger District. Het wordt geëxploiteerd door Powdr Corporation.
Het resort opende in november 1972. De berg is geëxploiteerd door verschillende eigenaren. In 1980 werd het verworven door Apex Oil Company, die het gebied exploiteerde tot 1988, toen het werd verworven door de in Toronto gevestigde Horsham Corporation. In 1997 werd het verworven door Intrawest, eigenaar en operator van Whistler en operator van Winter Park. Toen, in december 2009, verkocht Interwest de activiteiten van Copper Mountain aan Powdr Corporation.
