Het Schiereiland van San Francisco is een schiereiland in de San Francisco Bay Area dat de Baai van San Francisco van de Grote Oceaan scheidt. Het noordelijke uiteinde bestaat uit de stad en county San Francisco. Ten zuiden daarvan ligt San Mateo County, dat het merendeel van het schiereiland inneemt. Santa Clara County in het zuiden vormt de basis van het schiereiland.
"The Peninsula" is een benaming die de steden op het schiereiland ten zuiden van San Francisco aanduidt. De term valt nagenoeg samen met San Mateo County.
