Het NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is een non-profit academisch medisch centrum in New York City, geaffilieerd met twee Ivy League medische scholen: Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons en Weill Cornell Medical College. Het bestaat uit twee afzonderlijke medische centra, Columbia University Medical Center en Weill Cornell Medical Center. Sinds 2019 wordt het ziekenhuis gerangschikt als het 5e beste ziekenhuis in de Verenigde Staten en het 1e in de grootstedelijke gebied van New York City door U.S. News & World Report. Het ziekenhuis heeft ongeveer 20.000 medewerkers en in totaal 2.678 bedden en is een van de grootste ziekenhuizen ter wereld.
Het New York Hospital werd opgericht in 1771 door de Edinburgse afgestudeerde Samuel Bard. Het ontving een Koninklijke Charters verleend door koning George III van Groot-Brittannië en werd geassocieerd met Weill Cornell Medical College bij de oprichting van de laatste instelling in 1898. Het is het derde oudste ziekenhuis in de Verenigde Staten, na NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in New York en Pennsylvania Hospital.
