Humboldt County is een van de 58 county's in de Amerikaanse deelstaat Californië. Humboldt County ligt aan de Stille Oceaankust in het noorden van de staat, zo'n 320 km ten noorden van de grootstad San Francisco.
Volgens de volkstelling van 2010 bedroeg de populatie 134.623. De belangrijkste plaatsen zijn de hoofdplaats Eureka en het studentenstadje Arcata, beide aan de Humboldt Bay gelegen, Californiës tweede grootste natuurlijke baai.
