Flathead Lake is een groot natuurlijk meer in het noordwesten van Montana en is qua oppervlakte het grootste natuurlijke zoetwatermeer ten westen van de bron van de Missouri-rivier in de aaneengesloten Verenigde Staten.
Het meer is een overblijfsel van het oude, enorme gletsjermeer, Lake Missoula, uit het tijdperk van de laatste interglaciale periode. Flathead Lake is een natuurlijk meer langs de hoofdlijn van de Flathead River. Het werd in 1930 afgedamd door de Kerr Dam bij de uitlaat op Polson Bay, en het waterpeil werd met 10 voet verhoogd. Het is een van de schoonste meren ter wereld voor zijn grootte en type.
