Aquesta notable casa d'entramat amb voladís rep el nom de Casa Espanyola però també Casa de l'Alcalde .
Data d' abans de 1590 . Antigament va ser fonda i seu del Tribunal de Justícia del Grupont . Aquí les quatre germanes Jamin van ser declarades bruixes el 1618 pel tribunal de la Inquisició i condemnades a ser cremades a la foguera . El poble homenatja la memòria d'aquestes quatre víctimes a través de 8 plafons que expliquen la seva història
L'any 1855, la casa va passar a ser propietat del moliner Clément Herman i els seus descendents.
