Oristany és un municipi italià, situat a la regió de Sardenya i capital de l'homònima província d'Oristany. L'any 2006 tenia 32.932 habitants. Es troba a la regió de Campidano di Oristano. Conté les fraccions de Donigala, Massama, Marina di Torre Grande, Nuraxinieddu i Silì, i limita amb els municipis de Baratili San Pietro, Cabras, Nurachi, Palmas Arborea, Santa Giusta, Siamaggiore, Siamanna, Simaxis, Solarussa, Villaurbana i Zeddiani.
