La façana de ponent, a la Via Bonello , data dels segles XIV i XV i està flanquejada per dues torres gòtiques.
Té una portalada gòtica, amb una preciosa estàtua de la Mare de Déu del segle XV en una fornícula a sobre. Dues arcades d'arc apuntat recorren el carrer , connectant la catedral amb el campanar , que és adjacent al Palau Arquebispal.
Els panells en relleu de bronze de la porta central són del segle XX Filippo Sgarlata de Palerm. En simetria i reflectint l'eix de l'entrada, hi ha quatre inscripcions en pedra coronades per un nombre igual de nínxols.
