El Museu del Vestit Tradicional, instal·lat des del 2004 a l'antic edifici del Banc de Portugal , en ple centre històric, permet descobrir la riquesa etnogràfica dels vestits tradicionals de Viana do Castelo.
A més, hi ha les exposicions permanents “Llana i lli als vestits de la regió de l'Alt Miño”, “Vestits típics de Viana” i “L'art de l'orfebreria”. .
El Museu del Vestit també organitza nombroses exposicions temporals sobre el tema dels vestits tradicionals i l'etnografia de Viana do Castelo.
