Den Store Plads er en monumentalt torv i centrum af Bruxelles. Siden det 14. århundrede har det været et belagt, rektangulært torv på 111 × 56 meter. Markedspladsen opstod på højre bred af Zenne, øst for Zenne-øen og af Werf. Området var oprindeligt sumpet og blev drænet ved anlæggelsen i det 12. århundrede. Den oprindelige belægning lå 1,20 m lavere end den nuværende. Traditionelt munder syv gader ud på pladsen: Boterstraat, Guldenhoofdstraat, Sterstraat, Hoedenmakersstraat, Heuvelstraat, Haringstraat og Vlees-en-Broodstraat.
