Byen har den bedst bevarede bymur i Belgien; denne blev bygget i det 13. århundrede og tilhører byens anden vold.
Binche er især kendt for sin århundreder gamle karneval. Især Gilles med deres traditionelle kostumer er verdensberømte. I lang tid troede man, at karnevalet første gang blev organiseret i 1549 af Maria af Ungarn til ære for et besøg af hendes bror Karl V og hans søn Filip II, men denne teori er ikke længere holdbar, da der allerede findes henvisninger til en karneval i Binche i 1395.
I 2003 satte UNESCO Binche karnevalet på Listen over Mesterværker inden for Mundtlig og Immaterielt Kulturarv.
Også klokketårnet fra det 14.-16. århundrede er på listen over klokketårne, der er blevet anerkendt som verdensarv af UNESCO.
