I 1895 købte Congregationen af Sankt Josef fra Clermont-Ferrand mange bygninger til pleje af kvinder med sindssygdomme. Man etablerede også en folkeskole for piger der. Fra 1896 blev bygningerne udvidet til modtagelse af sindslidende. I dag tilbyder Medicinsk Center Sankt Josef terapi til mennesker med problemer, så de kan lære at (gen)integrere sig i samfundet.
