Garz er en kommune syd for Østersøkysten på øen Usedom. Den ligger i den østlige del af Achterland på øen Usedom direkte ved den lille Haff. Kommunen bliver administreret af Amts Usedom-Süd med sæde i Usedom.
Kommune Garz strækker sig fra nordsiden af Stettiner Haff til den østligt beliggende grænse til Polen. Mod Haff grænser Garz østligt op til kommunen Kamminke og vestligt til Zirchow. Mod nord ligger kommunen Korswandt, og cirka seks kilometer nordligt ligger badebyen Heringsdorf. Det østlige område af lufthavnen Heringsdorf ligger på Garz' kommunale område.
