Miniatur Wunderland i Hamburg er ifølge Guiness Rekordbog den største modeljernbane i verden. Det ligger i den historiske Speicherstadt og drives af Miniatur Wunderland Hamburg GmbH. På det 1499 kvadratmeter store anlæg ligger der i alt 15715 meter skinner i skala 1:87, hvor omkring 1040 digitalstyrede tog kører.
I sommeren 2000 var Frederik Braun, en af de to grundlæggere af Miniatur Wunderland, på ferie i Zürich. Der fik han ideen til verdens største modeljernbane i en modeljernbane butik. Tilbage i Hamburg søgte Frederik e-mail adresser fra internettet og startede en undersøgelse om populariteten af virkelige og fiktive seværdigheder i byen. Her blev det endnu ikke eksisterende Miniatur Wunderland valgt som nummer 3 af de mandlige respondenter.
