Den såkaldte Stiftskirke er en proste- og den romersk-katolske sognkirke i Kleve under beskyttelse af St. Mariæ Himmelfart.
I 1170 nævnes en kirke ved Kleve Slot. Ved grundlæggelsen af byen Kleve i 1242 forblev denne kirke først uden for byens befæstning. Inden for bymurene blev der opført en filialkirke, hvor et minoriteterkloster slog sig ned. Fra 1341 til 1802 var sognene i Kleve inkorporeret i det landsherrlige Marienstift. I 1924 blev Klever Unterstadtkirche St. Mariae Empfängnis udskilt som selvstændig menighed, og i 1950 blev den nye Christus-König menighed etableret. I 1967 blev sognene St. Mariae Himmelfahrt til prosti og Stiftskirke samtidig også til proste-kirke. Den respektive præst bærer siden da titlen prost. Ved sammenlægningen i 2005 af de Klever bysogne St. Mariae Himmelfahrt, St. Mariä Empfängnis, Christus-König, Herz-Jesu og sognet St. Lambertus Donsbrüggen, blev Stiftskirke sognekirke for den nye sogn St. Mariae Himmelfahrt.
