Det første Christiansborg Slot i København, Danmark, blev bygget på Slotsholmen i 1745 som en ny hovedbolig for Kong Christian VI af Danmark. Det blev bygget på samme sted som sin forgænger, Københavns Slot, som havde antaget et monstrøst udseende og begyndte at krakelere under sin egen vægt efter flere udvidelser.
