Ateca er en landsby og kommune i Spanien i provinsen Zaragoza, i Aragón. Den har en befolkning på 1729 indbyggere og en tæthed på 20,80 indb/km².[3] Den tilhører Calatayud kommune og er det næststørste beboelsesområde i distriktet, efter den bilbilitanske hovedstad. Kommunen, beliggende ca. 647 m over havets overflade, har et areal på 84,70 km² og en tæthed på 20,80 indb/km². Den var centrum for retsområdet i Ateca indtil reformen i 1965, da den blev annekteret til Calatayud. På det kirkelige niveau tilhører den bispedømmet Tarazona.[4]
