Det monastiske og kirkelige kompleks i Santo Domingo er et af de mest værdifulde eksempler på den andalusiske arv, hvis arkitektur kombinerer mudéjar-elementer, gotiske og renæssance .
Det er et monumentalt kompleks, der i dag inkluderer kirken og klosteret, et kompleks der blev grundlagt i året 1266.

Klosteret havde også en kirkegård for munkene, og omkring klosteret nogle sale som spisesalen, biblioteket og klasseværelserne.
I dag huser klosteret adskillige udstillinger.
