Den Kongelige Søakademi var en institution, der blev etableret i 1733 i Portsmouth Dockyard for at uddanne officerer til Royal Navy. Grundlæggernes intentioner var at tilbyde et alternativ til rekruttering af officerer og at give standardiseret træning, uddannelse og optagelse. I 1806 blev det omdøbt til Royal Naval College, og i 1816 blev det Royal Naval College og Skolen for Søarkitektur. Det blev lukket som uddannelsesinstitution for officeraspiranter i 1837.
