Byen Verbania ligger på vestsiden af Lago Maggiore i den norditalianske region Piemonte. Det er hovedstaden i provinsen Verbano-Cusio-Ossola. Kommunen blev dannet i 1939 ved fusionen af de tidligere kommuner Intra og Pallanza.
Verbania er det største industrielle og kommercielle sted ved Lago Maggiore og siden 1992 hovedstad i provinsen Verbano-Cusio-Ossola. Byen eksisterer faktisk først siden 1939, da byerne Intra og Pallanza blev sammenslået. Mellem byen og den modstående Laveno løber den vigtigste færgeforbindelse på Lago Maggiore.
