Zalmplaat er en metrostation i Rotterdams bydel Hoogvliet. Stationet blev åbnet den 25. oktober 1974 og var på det tidspunkt endestationen for nord-syd-linjen i den Rotterdamse metro, nu kendt som linje D. Over ti år efter åbningen, den 25. april 1985, blev linjen videreført til Spijkenisse, hvilket betød, at Zalmplaat mistede sin funktion som endestation. Det var også dengang den eneste endestation i den Rotterdamse metro uden en ø-platform. Stationen har samme design som stationen i Poortugaal, dog udført som et spejlbillede.
