Schoonheten er en stilfuld og fornem herregård. Den monumentale adgangsbro med de to buer over slotsgraven udstråler også dette. Huset blev første gang nævnt i 1382. Huset er omgræsset, og på forsiden ligger der to halvcirkelformede bygninger. De nuværende beboere er stadig en del af familien Bentinck.
