Diese Kirche hat eine lange Baugeschichte, die im 13. Jahrhundert beginnt. Zu Ehren der Hl. Katharina ließ Graf Ludwig von Male dort 1370 die Grafenkapelle bauen, die er zu seiner Grablege bestimmte. Das Innere der Kirche wurde im 17. Jahrhundert in üppigem Barockstil ausgestattet. Die Kirche enthält einige bedeutende Kunstschätze, darunter die Kreuzaufrichtung von Anton Van Dijck.
