Komen ist eine Stadt in der belgischen Provinz Hennegau und seit 1977 eine Teilgemeinde der Einrichtungensgemeinde Komen-Waasten. Wie die anderen Teilgemeinden der Exklave Komen-Waasten gehörte Komen bis 1963 zur flämischen Provinz Westflandern.
Wie Waasten liegt Komen am Fluss Leie, dessen altes Bett die Grenze zu Frankreich bildet. Auf der anderen Seite der Leie liegt die gleichnamige französische Gemeinde Komen.
