Wusstest du, dass Wellen einen berühmten Einwohner hatte, der die Ursache für das berühmte Stockholm-Syndrom war? Es war der Gangster Clark Olofsson, der in Wellen als Schriftsteller Daniel Demuynck bekannt war. Er lebte in einem alten Schloss in Wellen, wo er mit seiner Bande regelmäßig Partys feierte. Clark Olofsson hatte ein schönes Aussehen, eine charismatische Persönlichkeit und eine große Intelligenz. Während eines der berühmtesten Überfälle in Schweden gelang es ihm, die Geiseln vollständig zu überzeugen, den Geiselnehmern zu vertrauen, sie zu unterstützen und zu beschützen. Das geschah am 23. August 1973 in der Sveriges Kreditbanken am eleganten Norrmalmstorg-Platz.
Später landete also Clark Olofsson hier in Wellen. Es gibt sogar eine Netflix-Serie über ihn: "Clark".
