De Klinge ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz Ostflandern und eine Teilgemeinde von Sint-Gillis-Waas. Das Dorf grenzt an das niederländische Clinge in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. De Klinge hat etwa 3550 Einwohner und eine Fläche von 2,72 km².
De Klinge ist eine Gemeinde, die um 1200 im Mittelalter entstand. Der erste Name, unter dem die heutige Gemeinde bekannt war, ist Dorpe. Später wurde der Name in De Klinge umgewandelt. Dieser Name bedeutet Landdüne oder Sandansammlung nach der Eiszeit.
