Die Chefna ist ein Zufluss der Amblève. Sie entspringt in Ville-au-Bois und mündet bei Ferme de Quarreux.
Früher wurde im Flusswasser nach Gold gesucht. Am rechten Ufer liegen die Schachtanlagen einer primitiven Goldmine aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, aber heutzutage ist davon nicht mehr viel zu sehen. Es wurde irgendwann Gold gefunden, aber es war nur eine kleine Menge. Der Ertrag betrug 0,40 Gramm Gold pro Tonne Gestein. Dennoch soll Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts ein Betreiber 'fast' Millionär geworden sein.
