Das Teichgebiet Midden-Limburg ist ein teichreiches Kerngebiet in De Wijers, einer Region im Zentrum der belgischen Provinz Limburg. Das Gebiet liegt grob südlich der E314, östlich des Albertkanaals und westlich der Bahnlinie von Hasselt nach Mol. Es befindet sich also, wie der Name schon sagt, im Zentrum der Provinz Limburg und ist das größte Teichgebiet ganz Belgiens mit einer Gesamtfläche von über 4000 ha. Die Landschaft ist sehr waldreich mit sowohl Laub- als auch Nadelbäumen, aber es gibt auch sehr wertvolle landwirtschaftliche Flächen und eine große Vielfalt an Fauna und Flora. Darin liegen etwa 1.175 Teiche, oder wijers im Dialekt, mit einer Wasserfläche von 700 Hektar.
