Die Wasser Mühle in Loonbeek gehörte zur Burg von Loonbeek und wurde bereits 1495 erwähnt. Die Geusen haben die Mühle zerstört und die älteren Gebäude stammen aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Es war eine Bannmühle und alle Bewohner der Herrlichkeit Loonbeek waren verpflichtet, ihr Getreide in dieser Mühle zu mahlen.
Die gesamte Anlage ist noch vorhanden und kann von einer Wasserturbine angetrieben werden. Das Wasserrad wurde 1952 durch eine Turbine ersetzt. Diese befindet sich im kleinen Anbau über der IJse. In dieser Wasser Mühle sind 2 Getreidemühlen vorhanden.
Nahe der Brücke über die IJse an der Wasser Mühle steht ein Pfahl für Knotenpunkt 216.
