Der französische Militärfriedhof von Machelen-aan-de-Leie liegt in der Dorpsstraat. Über das Zugangstor kann man den Friedhof frei betreten. Hier werden 750 gefallene französische Soldaten geehrt, die in der Region von Leie und Schelde während der Endoffensive von 1918 gefallen sind. Jedes Jahr am ersten Sonntag im September findet hier auch eine französisch-belgische Gedenkfeier statt.
