Der Sterrebos liegt in der Roeselaarser Teilgemeinde Rumbeke. Es ist der einzige grüne Raum von einiger Bedeutung innerhalb der Roeselaarser Agglomeration. Der Sterrebos ist ein bescheidenes, aber vielfältiges Areal von 27 ha.
Dank der gut durchdachten Gestaltung der Schlossumgebung und des Parkwaldes bietet der Sterrebos sowohl landschaftlich als auch natürlich genügend Variation, um weiterhin zu fesseln. Der Liebhaber entdeckt eine große Vielfalt an einheimischen Bäumen und Sträuchern, aber auch wunderschöne, exotische Baumarten wie die imposante Platane beim Schloss bereichern das Gesamtbild. Die blütenreichen Wiesen und die Wasserflächen voller Wasserpflanzen bilden faszinierende Natürelemente.
