Im Jahr 1895 kaufte die Kongregation von Sankt Joseph aus Clermont-Ferrand zahlreiche Gebäude zur Betreuung von psychisch kranken Frauen. Auch wurde dort eine Grundschule für Mädchen eingerichtet. Ab 1896 wurden die Gebäude erweitert, um psychisch Kranke aufzunehmen. Heutzutage bietet das Medizinische Zentrum Sankt Joseph Therapie für Menschen mit Problemen an, damit sie lernen, sich (wieder) in die Gesellschaft zu integrieren.
