In diesem ehemaligen Kloster „de Hoop“ aus dem Jahr 1884 befand sich auch eine Schule. Seit 1938 gibt es im ehemaligen Gemüsegarten des Klosters auch eine Lourdesgrotte .
Die Jungen und Mädchen waren durch eine Mauer sauber getrennt. Im Jahr 1913 verfiel es und wurde durch eine niedrige Mauer mit Eisentoren ersetzt. Die Jungen und Mädchen konnten sich nun sehen ... 1970 wurden diese Mauer und die Zäune abgerissen und durch eine weiße Linie ersetzt ... Es dauerte weitere zehn Jahre, bis Jungen und Mädchen zusammen spielen konnten.
Die Schule schloss 1985 ihre Pforten.
Die Stadt Tielt, die es 2004 gekauft hat, hat das Gelände ab 2022 attraktiver gemacht. Das Besucherzentrum in der Kapelle ist ein Raum für Tagungen, Familienfeiern und Workshops. Es gibt auch eine schöne Brasserie mit einer schönen Terrasse.
Im Obstgarten wird es einen Kletterparcours und Tische für Picknicks geben.
