Das alte Bahnhofsgebäude wurde dann abgerissen , um Platz für das heutige Catering-Geschäft in der Groene62 , einem ehemaligen Gleisbett, zu machen.

Das ehemalige Bahnbett bildet die ideale Route für Wanderer und Radfahrer und ist daher ein idealer Haltepunkt.

Diese grüne Achse verbindet Ostende mit Torhout . Mit ihren 22 km ist diese alte Eisenbahn die längste aller grünen Achsen . Auf der Strecke ist der Bahnhof Moere erhalten geblieben.
