Dieses Bürgertum möchte komfortabel wohnen und seinen neuen Status zur Schau stellen, indem es luxuriöse Wohnhäuser baut als Zeichen des neuen Erfolgs. So fand der Jugendstil fruchtbaren Boden für seine Entwicklung und hinterließ Spuren in der Stadtarchitektur.
