Achim () ist die größte Stadt und eine selbständige Gemeinde im Landkreis Verden in Niedersachsen . Südöstlich von Bremen gelegen wird sie auch häufig als Achim bei Bremen bezeichnet.
Achim liegt in der Mittelweserniederung am Rande der Achim-Verdener Geest. In der Nähe der Stadt finden sich naturbelassene Moore. Achim liegt an der Weser und an der Alten Aller, die einen Altarm der Aller bildet und bei Baden in die Weser mündet.
