Poveda de la Sierra ist eine spanische Gemeinde in der Provinz Guadalajara, in der autonomen Gemeinschaft Kastilien-La Mancha. Sie hat eine Fläche von 51,7 km² mit einer Bevölkerung von 131 Einwohnern und einer Dichte von 2,61 Einw./km².
Poveda de la Sierra gehörte seit der christlichen Eroberung bis zum 12. Jahrhundert zum Gemeinen Gut von Villa und Tierra de Cuenca, unterlag ihrem Recht und gehörte später zum Sexmo de la Sierra des Señorío de Molina und stand unter der Kontrolle der Diözese Cuenca. Während der territorialen Reform im 19. Jahrhundert wurde der Ort, wie das gesamte Señorío de Molina, der Provinz Guadalajara zugewiesen.
