Arras [aʁɑːs] ist eine französische Stadt in der Region Hauts-de-France. Sie ist Verwaltungssitz des Départements Pas-de-Calais. Eine erste urkundliche Erwähnung lässt sich auf das Jahr 407 datieren.Die Stadt mit 41.694 Einwohnern liegt in der historischen Provinz Artois nahe dem Zusammenfluss der Scarpe und des Crinchon, etwa 50 Kilometer südwestlich von Lille.
