Beim Radfahren auf der schottischen C2C-Route von Annan zur Forth-Brücke (siehe https://www.sevendaycyclist.com/ultimate-scottish-c2c-guide) schlugen mehrere lokale Radfahrer diese als alternative Route von Moffat nach Innerleithen vor. Zugegeben, sie verpasst das Devil's Beef Tub, Tweedale und Peebles, aber die Holztransporter sind weniger und die Einheimischen sagten, dass sie es für eine schönere Route hielten.
