Das Memelland oder Memelgebiet war ein Gebiet im nördlichen Ostpreußen, das Deutschland 1920 nach Artikel 99 des Versailler Vertrags ohne Volksabstimmung an die alliierten Mächte abtreten musste. Es lag rechts der Memel bzw. ihres Deltaarms Skierwieth und umfasste auch den entsprechenden Teil der Kurischen Nehrung. Bis Anfang 1923 verwaltete Frankreich das Gebiet in Vertretung des Völkerbundes. Dann wurde es von Litauen annektiert.
