Doetinchem (Niederdeutsch: sowohl Deutekem als Durkum oder Dörkum) ist eine Stadt und Gemeinde an der Alten IJssel, gelegen in der Achterhoek, in der niederländischen Provinz Gelderland. Die Gemeinde hat 56.100 Einwohner (1. April 2011, Quelle: CBS) und eine Fläche von 79,07 km² (davon 0,57 km² Wasser). Damit ist Doetinchem die dichtest besiedelte Gemeinde in der Achterhoek. Die Bevölkerung besteht zu über vierzig Prozent aus protestantischer Herkunft und zu einem nahezu gleichen Teil aus katholischer Abstammung.
