Das Gebäude der ehemaligen Seefahrtschule Abel Tasman in der groninger Stadt Delfzijl wurde 1930 in einem mit der Amsterdamer Schule verwandten Baustil erbaut.
Die Seefahrtschule in Delfzijl wurde 1856 als Schule für Gewerbe und Seefahrt gegründet. Später wurde die Schule nach dem niederländischen Entdecker Abel Tasman benannt und erhielt den Namen Noorderkweekschool Abel Tasman, noch später Seefahrtschule Abel Tasman.
