Station Linkebeek is a railway station along line 124 on the border of the municipality of Linkebeek and the municipality of Uccle. It is now a stop. The station building was erected in 1981 on the border of both municipalities according to plans by architect Herwig Persoons. The ticket counters were closed in 1993, after which the building fell into disrepair, with significant graffiti among other issues. It briefly served as a skate park. The station building was demolished in 2013. This was however after legal issues arose, as the station is located on the regional border between Flanders and the Brussels-Capital Region. As a result, the demolition permit had to be issued entirely in French and Dutch.
