This clay pit, where extraction has recently ceased (temporarily?), is part of a vast clay extraction area. It includes a raised area covered with a discontinuous wasteland on fairly moist substrate and two bodies of water surrounded by eroded slopes. Its plant colonization is overall not very advanced. Its biological interest, very incompletely documented, should increase over the years. One can already mention the presence of a few interesting plants in the Brabant phytogeographical district: Isolepis setacea, Centaurium pulchellum, and especially Potentilla anglica.
Public Access: Access is likely prohibited.
Type: Site of Great Biological Interest (SGIB)
