In this church, AI was used in a remarkable way. There you could talk to a Jesus who was controlled by artificial intelligence.
The chapel installed a kind of confessional where you could talk to an AI-controlled Jesus in a hundred different languages. The installation, called Deus in machina , was the result of a years-long collaboration with the local university. “We wanted to see and understand how people react to an AI Jesus. What would they talk to him about? Would there be any interest in talking to him?”
