The Dueñas River is a river that runs from north to south in the northern part of the province of León. It rises in the Mampodre Massif, in the Collado de Vioba, between the Pico del Corral de los Diablos and the Cueto de las Hundidas; it passes through the town of Lois, where shortly afterwards the Llorada stream and the Tras del Castro stream join; bathing the lands of Ciguera is joined by the Alcón River; It passes through Salamón, is joined by the Luther's Trail, which comes from the valley of Valbuena del Roblo, and passes by the hermitage of the Virgen del Roblo, where shortly after, in Vegalión, it joins the river Esla.
