By this path n°31, come discover the priory, the keep, and the castle of Neuville-Day. A rich local history will brighten your walk located a few hundred meters from the Ardennes canal. Spanning 88 km, this canal has no less than 44 locks. At the starting sign, turn right to take "Rue de Day." Continue on this road for 1.7 km until you reach Day. About a hundred meters before arriving at the locality, you will see on your left the keep (classified as a historical monument since 1987 - the keep is a private property not open to visitors). Leave the locality by going up the hill and then turn left towards the "ferme de la Commodité." Pass in front of this farm and continue straight for 1 km then, at the intersection, turn right towards the village of Mont-de-Jeux. Before reaching this village and after 800 m, turn left onto the grassy path for 1 km, until you reach the departmental road. Turn left to enter the village of Semuy. Go down "Rue de la Hamée" until you reach the Voie verte Sud-Ardennes. Continue on this path for a segment of 2.8 km allowing you to reach Neuville-Day. At the intersection of "La Vallée des écluses," turn left then go back up "Rue de la Coquée." At the yield, turn left to return to your starting point.
