Geulle Castle was built in 1595 by Wolter Hoen van Hoensbroeck. The imposing structure from that time still shines in full glory, with the outer castle and moat. The fortress is surrounded by a beautiful garden with ancient trees. On the opposite side of the road, two 18th-century gate pillars stand opposite the access bridge. This oasis of tranquility is located 12 kilometers north of Maastricht, between the Meuse and the Julian Canal.
