El castillo, actualmente llamado «De Hoef», es un edificio de tres alas que probablemente data de mediados del siglo XVII. Las partes más antiguas del edificio son la sección principal de vivienda y el ala este. El ala oeste parece ser de una fecha más reciente y posiblemente data de finales del siglo XVIII, principios del XIX. Está claro que la granja fue renovada a fondo en la primera mitad del siglo XIX. En ese momento se hicieron las grandes aberturas de las ventanas en el ala principal. En particular, en el lado norte, los antiguos fosos todavía son fácilmente distinguibles. / En 1985, la Comunidad Flamenca adquirió la propiedad y el bien recibió un nuevo destino como hotel-restaurante. Como «Hostellerie Hof de Draeck» con elegantes habitaciones y una cocina de alto nivel, el establecimiento ha ganado fama desde entonces.
